Cooking Dasher Style

I couldn't ask for a better example of being a big sister.  While Jennifer doesn't always want to teach her Jessica things.  She usually finds it in her heart to share herself and help her sister learn valuable things.  Jennifer is nine years old and in the phase of her life where she wants to be an individual.  My job of course is to train her how to behave and learn to follow God.  I am so thankful for the attitude that she has adopted and the sweet spirit with which she serves.

Then we have Jessica who usually is the one who keeps me on my knees praying for God's wisdom to train her correctly.  However, there are certain times that I find her wanting to serve.  This was a day that Jessica wanted to be in the kitchen helping Jennifer prepare a meal.  I am one of those types of moms that generally think it's easier to do it myself, but I am trying to embrace that my girls won't be little forever so I need to treasure the times.  Making memories is what I like to term it.

I hope that you will enjoy our journey together as I try to look for blessings at every turn and attempt to make memories along the way.
